By turning down the guitars and tapping into their emotions, Oasis created “Wonderwall” and elicited first curiosity and then praise. Known for ear-splitting guitars and rock star swagger, Oasis was the last band anybody expected to churn out an acoustic love song, yet they did just that and so much more. One of the most well-known and beloved ballads of the ’90s and beyond came from the least likely source.
